At Camp Green Lane, we try to give the campers as much variety as we can. A big part of our summer includes special events and trips that can add even more excitement to the daily schedule.

At CGL, we celebrate Halloween in the summer. Campers compete in the CGL Olympics. Once every summer, camp turns into a Carnival complete with cotton candy and rides. Boys’ and Girls’ Camps even square off in the Battle of the Sexes.

Regular field trips include evenings spent roller skating, ice skating, going to the movies, and days at Dorney Park. And for our older campers, adventures can be found on overnight trips away from camp.

But the highlight of every summer is Color War. The break. The songs. The cheers. The Green and White. Every summer, camp is split into two teams for a week of athletic and creative competition that teaches sportsmanship and tradition, and reinforces the values of friendship.
